2/7/05 We have had a great season so far Most January on Anna Maria Island Florida was in the high 70's and low 80' with about 4 day in the 60's and February is looking good so far with 75 for the high for the rest of the week. Last week we had a manatee and a pod of 9 Dolphins go by both were a petty neat site dolphins are common but not in such a large group. Manatee are seen a lot on the bay side but not so frequently on the Gulf Side of the Island. We have a turtle nest in front of our place due to hatch this month "End of July" . The Waterfront restaurant had a fire and is closed for the next couple of months.
Chez's Italian restaurant has closed White Sands Gets a face lift. Property has gone thought major update.
Unit #14 has been tile and bath room has been redone. Unit 21 has had it bath room remodeled, units #8 and #9a and #2 have been tile and units 2 & 8 also had it bath room remodeled. Pool now has a aluminum fence on htree side and PVC Fence
forth side, Both Properties have been painted inside Rooms 1,2,4,5,7,8,9a, 10,11,12,14,22,23,24,25 & 26 are now or will be non smoking in 2004. Smoker may also use non smoking room as long as they smoke outside. There will be a 200 charge for smoking in a non smoking room and removal.
